Dennis Neuhaus (Bass & Horn)
started classical training in junior high school at age 13 on trumpet. He started his first band at age 16 which took him to the Catskill Mountains of NY. He played trumpet and bass in the NY city society jazz circuit as a union musician from 1961 - 1976. The US Army Band recruited him as a trumpet player from 1964 - 1967. He built and operated a recording studio in both Chicago and Ft. Lauderdale from 1980 - 1993 and moved to Crestone in 1993. His performance experience ranges from Classical to Jazz, Rock, Country, Latin, Reggae, and assorted Ethnic Music.
Kailash (Guitar & Keyboard)
started in music at age 11 in a community boys choir and went on to play cornet and baritone horn through junior high & high school. He studied music at the Saint Petersburg Junior College in Florida from 1980 - 1983 as a guitar major and piano minor. From 1984 - 1987, he played in a variety of jazz clubs in New York & New Jersey, and studied arranging and jazz harmony at the New York School of Music. Kailash moved to Crestone in 1988.
Dennis & Kailash are the heart of this band and bring in other musicians for a full jazz sound
